Everything you need to know before listing your boat
Create an account, fill in your boat details, set your available slots and price. Members book online and you receive a notification. When your first boat is activated, you connect your bank account via Stripe in 5 minutes (IBAN + photo ID). From then on, your reimbursement is automatically transferred after each outing — no action required on your part.
It depends on your rate and availability. Active owners on our lakes average 5 to 7 outings per month during the season, receiving a reimbursement between CHF 150 and CHF 400 per outing.
Before each outing, the deposit amount you set is pre-authorized on the member's card via Stripe. If damage is found at check-out, you can request the charge within 72 hours.
Check-in and check-out are documented with photos. If you find damage, contact us within 72 hours: the pre-authorized deposit is charged and we guide you through the process.
Yes. Every member must hold the required license for the type of vessel. Boat-Evasion verifies and validates the license before each member's first booking.
Absolutely. You keep full control of your calendar. Block your personal dates and they won't be offered to other members.
Three things: write a short handover guide for your boat (how it works, safety instructions, specifics) for members; install a key box so the key can be handed over without an appointment; and, optionally, take out a "multiple pilot" insurance to cover the members using your boat.
